Pizza Base Ingredients

3 ½ cups flour
1 cup warm water
2 tbs dry yeast
2 tbs honey
¼ cup olive oil
½ tsp salt

Pizza Base Directions

Stir honey and salt into a small bowl with warm water.
Add yeast and stir again.
Let sit for 5 minutes.
In another bowl, mix olive oil and 1 cup of flour together.
Stir until well combined, then mix in the remaining flour.
If the resulting dough is too try, add a little extra water.
On a floured board or counter, knead dough for about a minute.
Cover in a bowl, and let rise in a warm place.
The dough will double in size in about 45 minutes.
Punch it down, then let it rise again for another hour.
Dough can be rolled out for pizza right away, or stored in the fridge for later use.
