Basic Pizza Dough Ingredients

3 ¾ cups flour
2 tbs yeast
1 tsp salt
1 tbs honey
1 ½ tbs olive oil
1 ½ cups warm water

Basic Pizza Dough Directions

Let the yeast dissolved in ½ cup of warm water, and then stand undisturbed for about 3 minutes.
In another mixing bowl, combine flour and salt.
Pour the yeast mixture, remaining warm water, honey and olive oil into the flour.
Mix until combined and a dough is formed.

Knead for about 15 minutes, until the dough starts to get elastic.
Split in half, and set each piece on a floured baking sheet.
Cover in a warm place for 1 ½ hours, or until they each double in size.
When ready to make pizza, flatten each dough ball out to a thickness of about a quarter of an inch.
Add toppings, and bake for about 20 minutes at 400F.
